Man arrested on DUI charge in Warwick

WICKFORD, RI — Troopers arrested a Massachusetts man on drunken driving charges following reports of an erratic driver.

Thomas Wall, 45, of Seekonk, Massachusetts, was taken into custody at 10:15 p.m. and charged with driving under the influence of liquor, first offense, and refusal to submit to a chemical test, first offense.

Troopers located Wall’s vehicle on Route 95 in Warwick after receiving a call about an erratic operator.

Wall was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.

He was released with a notice to appear in Third Division District Court.

In a separate incident, troopers arrested Ian Kelleher, 20, of Cumberland, at 2:10 a.m. on an outstanding warrant.

Kelleher was charged with eluding law enforcement in a high-speed pursuit, first offense, on a warrant issued by the West Greenwich Police Department.

The arrest occurred during a motor vehicle stop on Route 4 South in East Greenwich.

Kelleher was processed at the Wickford Barracks and turned over to the West Greenwich Police Department.
