JOHNSTON, RI — Three people were arrested at 5 p.m. following a be-on-the-lookout alert from Warwick Police Department after troopers located their vehicle on Greenville Avenue.
Andrew Lowell, 35, of Chepachet, Rhode Island, was arrested on charges of reckless driving, obstructing officer in the execution of duty, conspiracy, possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance 10 grams or less, and receiving stolen goods.
Lowell was also arrested on a Providence Superior Court bench warrant for failure to appear for pre-arraignment conference on an original charge of possession of a Schedule I-V controlled substance originating from Glocester Police Department.
He was additionally arrested on an affidavit and arrest warrant originating from Warwick Police Department on a charge of shoplifting.
Melissa Hachey, 34, of Danielson, Connecticut, was arrested on charges of conspiracy and receiving stolen goods.
Hannah Deojay, 40, of Woodstock, Connecticut, was arrested on charges of conspiracy and receiving stolen goods.
All three subjects were transported to the State Police Scituate Barracks where they were processed.
Lowell was held overnight pending morning arraignment as a violator.
Hachey and Deojay were arraigned by a justice of the peace and released with future Third Division District Court dates.
