Man cited on domestic assault charge in Rutland Town

RUTLAND TOWN, VT — Vermont State Police responded to a domestic disturbance on Business Route 4 on June 7.

Troopers from the Rutland Barracks arrived at approximately 12:47 p.m.

An investigation revealed that David Hollister, 26, of Rutland Town, caused pain to a family member and restrained them.

Hollister was charged with domestic assault and unlawful restraint.

He was transported to the Vermont State Police Rutland Barracks for processing.

Hollister was released with a citation to appear in Rutland County Superior Court on June 30 at 12:30 p.m.
