WARRINGTON, PA — Police arrested a Philadelphia man on a retail theft charge after responding to a report of stolen merchandise at Walgreens on June 22, 2026.

Officers responded to the store at 2060 Street Road after employees reported that a man and woman entered the restroom with store merchandise before leaving while consuming a beverage they had not paid for.

Police located Quadir Hurtt, 36, of Philadelphia, at the bus stop in front of Wawa.

During the investigation, Hurtt became aggressive toward officers and was placed under arrest.

The stolen beverage was valued at $5.29.

While officers were investigating, they observed Jade Crystal Gantt, 35, of Philadelphia, exiting Wawa.

Upon noticing the police presence, Gantt turned around and reentered the store before eventually exiting while eating Wawa ice cream.

Officers spoke with Wawa employees, who reported that Gantt had stolen $12.75 worth of merchandise.

She was subsequently placed under arrest.

Following her arrest, Gantt informed officers she had left a bag in the Wawa restroom.

Officers retrieved the bag and discovered two glass smoking pipes containing burnt residue.

Both suspects were transported to the Warrington Police Department for processing.

Hurtt was issued a non-traffic citation and released.

Gantt was arraigned by Judge Wertman, who set bail at $100,000.

After she was unable to post bail, Gantt was transported to the Bucks County Correctional Facility.
