HARTFORD, CT — Hartford Police are investigating a serious motorcycle crash that left a rider in critical condition.
Officers responded to the area of Coventry Street at Woodstock Street following a report of a crash.
Upon arrival, officers located a 45-year-old man in the roadway with a crashed motorcycle nearby.
The operator was suffering from serious, life-threatening injuries and was transported by EMS to an area hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
Preliminary investigation indicates the motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the crash.
Members of the Hartford Police Crime Scene Division responded to assist with the investigation.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
