WALTON, NY — A 56-year-old man was arrested Sunday following a larceny complaint at a Dollar General store.
Sheriff Craig S. DuMond announced the arrest of Michael LoCastro, of Walton, on June 21, 2026.
Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported larceny in progress at the Dollar General in the village of Walton on Sunday morning.
Deputies arrived on scene and located LoCastro.
Following an investigation, deputies charged LoCastro with one count of petit larceny and one count of criminal possession of stolen property in the fifth degree, both class A misdemeanors.
LoCastro was released on an appearance ticket and directed to appear in village of Walton court at a later date.
