GEORGIA, VT — A Milton man was arrested on drunken driving charges following a traffic stop on Vermont Route 104A.
Michael Gilchrist, 56, of Milton, was stopped by Vermont State Police troopers at 7:55 p.m. June 25, 2026.
Troopers conducted the traffic stop based on multiple motor vehicle violations.
While speaking with Gilchrist, troopers detected indicators of impairment.
Gilchrist was arrested without incident and transported to the St. Albans Barracks for processing.
He was charged with DUI third offense with refusal and driving with a suspended license.
Gilchrist was issued a citation to appear in Franklin County Superior Court.
