ROME, NY — Two men were arrested Wednesday following a physical altercation at 151 Park Drive Manor.
Officers from the Rome Police Department responded to the scene at approximately 1:30 p.m. for a reported dispute involving two adult males.
Upon arrival, officers observed an active physical altercation between Juan Rodriguez and Jason Jones.
The investigation determined that the altercation stemmed from an incident in which Jones allegedly struck Rodriguez’s 13-year-old daughter.
Both Rodriguez and Jones were taken into custody at the scene.
During the arrest process, officers discovered that Rodriguez was in possession of a firearm.
Both individuals were charged with disorderly conduct.
Jones was also charged with endangering the welfare of a child.
Rodriguez was additionally charged with criminal possession of a firearm.
