2 arrested after home invasion in Danville

DANVILLE, NH — Two men are in custody following a home invasion on Beatrice Street on June 23, 2026.

Officer Wilson of the Danville Police Department was dispatched to Beatrice Street at approximately 9 p.m. for a report of a home invasion.

A 12-year-old juvenile was home alone on a video chat with a friend when three men wearing black masks and armed with baseball bats broke through the front door.

The juvenile’s friend called 911.

The masked men were attempting to locate the juvenile’s father and threatened serious bodily injury to him.

Officer Wilson arrived on scene, established a perimeter and requested assistance from K9 Officer Capsalis and K9 Crue.

K9 Crue conducted an area search of nearby residences with no findings.

A track was initiated by K9 Crue at the scene and led officers to a nearby residence doorstep.

Officers interviewed the tenant of the mobile home, Nathan Wilder, who denied any involvement.

During the investigation, Officer Wilson learned from the original caller that friends had reported one of the suspects had bragged about the burglary.

Nathan Wilder, John Wilder and a juvenile were identified as suspects.

John Wilder admitted to police to breaking into the home on Beatrice Street and said Nathan Wilder and a juvenile assisted him.

Officers located three baseball bats, two ski masks and articles of clothing used in the crime, which were seized as evidence.

John Wilder and Nathan Wilder were arrested.

The juvenile involved was released to a parent.

John Wilder is charged with burglary with weapon, criminal threat with a deadly weapon and criminal mischief.

Nathan Wilder is charged with burglary with weapon and criminal threat with a deadly weapon.

Both men are being held at the Rockingham County Jail awaiting arraignment.

The Danville Police Department was assisted by the Hampstead, Sandown, Fremont and Kingston police departments.
