ST. GEORGE, VT — A 64-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence Monday evening.
Kelly Degrechie, of St. George, was taken into custody on Birch Road at approximately 7:50 p.m. June 21, 2026.
State police from the Williston Barracks were conducting an investigation on Birch Road when a vehicle drove by and parked nearby, according to authorities.
Troopers approached the vehicle to speak with the operator, who was identified as Degrechie.
During the interaction, troopers detected signs of impairment, police said.
Degrechie was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and transported to the Williston Barracks for processing.
She was released with a citation to appear in Chittenden County Superior Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 4, 2026 at 8:30 a.m.
Degrechie faces charges of DUI and criminal driving with a suspended license.
