ALTOONA, PA — Officers from the Altoona Police Department, Logan Township Police, Pennsylvania State Police, and the Blair County District Attorney’s Office conducted a vehicle stop on a suspect vehicle returning to the Altoona area from New York City on June 17, 2026.
During the stop, Altoona K-9 Blue and Cpl. Fox were summoned to the scene.
K-9 Blue performed an exterior sniff of the vehicle and alerted to the presence of narcotics.
A search warrant of the vehicle was applied for and granted.
The search yielded four individually wrapped and stamped packages each containing 1 kilogram of suspected cocaine.
Officers also found a one-gallon sized bag containing approximately 500 grams of suspected cocaine.
Officers found 100 pressed suspected methamphetamine pills.
The approximately 10 pounds of suspected cocaine and 100 suspected methamphetamine pills have an estimated street value totaling $452,000.
Olubayo Ranger and Anthony Branch were arrested and charged with conspiracy, possession with intent to deliver, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Both defendants were arraigned and lodged in the Blair County Prison after being denied bail.
