Three arrested on various charges in southern Rhode Island

WICKFORD, RI — Rhode Island State Police made three arrests on Jan. 23 at the Wickford Barracks following separate incidents in the area.

At 10:38 a.m., troopers arrested Mykel Woodall, 27, of Dallas, Georgia, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 95 in Warwick.

Woodall was charged with receiving stolen goods valued at more than $10,000, possession of a motor vehicle or stolen parts with an altered identification number in the first offense, and obstructing an officer in execution of duty.

He was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and transported to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center to await arraignment in Third District Court as a probation violator.

At 1:50 p.m., troopers arrested Abdullah Daigle, 20, of Hope, following a barracks investigation.

Troopers located Daigle on Route 4 south in East Greenwich.

He was charged with reckless driving and other offenses against public safety in the first offense.

Daigle was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future Third District Court date.

At 10:56 p.m., troopers arrested Steven Miller, 56, of Cranston, following a motor vehicle stop on Route 138 in North Kingstown.

Miller was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol with an unknown blood alcohol content in the first offense and refusal to submit to a chemical test.

He was processed at the Wickford Barracks, arraigned by a justice of the peace, and released with a future Third District Court date.
