STURBRIDGE, MA — Police are investigating a shooting that occurred early Sunday morning.
The Sturbridge Police Department and Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a shooting at 400 Haynes Street at approximately 12:55 a.m.
The incident remains an active and ongoing investigation being conducted by the Massachusetts State Police, the Sturbridge Police Department, and the Worcester County District Attorney’s Office.
Police said there is no threat to the public at this time.
Additional information is being gathered, and a more detailed press release will be issued later this morning as the investigation permits, according to Chief Earl J. Dessert.
