CLARENCE, NY — A 55-year-old man has been charged with murder following the death of his wife early Tuesday morning.
Erie County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a residence on Sheridan Drive at 2:55 a.m.
Deputies found Deanna Christen, 50, of Clarence, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound inside the residence.
Michael Brown, 55, of Clarence, was taken into custody at the scene.
Brown was charged with second-degree murder.
He was transported to the Erie County Holding Center pending arraignment.
