BIRDSBORO, PA — The Berks County Sheriff’s Office Warrants Unit apprehended a man at his residence on June 16, 2026.
Matthew Thompson was wanted on felony aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charges filed by the Exeter Township Police Department.
Thompson, of Birdsboro, was transported to Central Booking for processing and arraignment.
Bail was set at $25,000 unsecured.
He was released pending further court proceedings.
