MILTON, NH — A paraprofessional has been arrested on multiple assault charges following an investigation at Milton Elementary School.
Matthew McNally was arrested and charged on June 6, 2026, with six counts of simple assault – unprivileged physical contact, according to the Milton Police Department.
Sentence enhancements are alleged based on the victims being under the age of 13.
The investigation was initiated after administrative staff at Milton Elementary School reported concerns to police.
Investigators determined that McNally had been employed as a paraprofessional after being hired by SAU 64 through a staffing agency.
Police thanked the administrative staff at Milton Elementary School for their prompt reporting, assistance and cooperation throughout the investigation.
