Man arrested after fleeing police on stolen motorcycle in Medford Township

MEDFORD TOWNSHIP, NJ — A motorcyclist was arrested after fleeing from police and was found to be riding a stolen vehicle.

On June 14, 2026, at approximately 1:36 p.m., Medford Township Police officers attempted to stop a motorcycle that was being operated without a visible registration.

The operator of the motorcycle refused to acknowledge officers’ signals to stop and fled the location.

While checking the area, an officer identified the motorcycle and rider stopped at a traffic signal on Tuckerton Road at Taunton Road.

Officers safely took the rider into custody and identified him as Michael Ervin, of Willingboro.

During the investigation, officers determined the motorcycle had been reported stolen out of Cherry Hill.

Ervin was issued multiple motor vehicle summonses and arrested for multiple warrants, receiving stolen property and eluding.

He was committed to Burlington County Jail.
