SOUTHAMPTON, PA — A 33-year-old woman was charged with driving under the influence after her vehicle struck a tree early Friday morning.
Upper Southampton Police responded to the 400 block of Knowles Avenue at 1:12 a.m. May 29 for a report of a traffic accident involving a vehicle that had crashed into a tree.
Officers made contact with the operator, Yuliia Borovika, of Pennsylvania.
During the investigation, police determined that Borovika was under the influence of alcohol.
Borovika was charged with DUI and related offenses.
