BATH, NY — Two women were arrested following a traffic stop on June 13, 2026.
An officer with the Village of Bath Police Department conducted a traffic stop at approximately 9:30 p.m. for a violation of New York State Vehicle and Traffic Law at Colonial Lawns.
During the traffic stop, the officer suspected the driver may be under the influence of drugs.
The officer administered Standard Field Sobriety Tests to the driver, who was then placed under arrest.
The officer suspected further criminal activity and requested assistance from the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office K9 unit to perform a K9 sniff of the vehicle.
Controlled substances were located following a search of the vehicle.
Nichole Jacquier was charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, a misdemeanor, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
Judith Rosekrans was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree, a Class A misdemeanor.
