WILLIAMSTOWN, VT — A Connecticut man was cited for excessive speed after Vermont State Police clocked him traveling 101 mph on Interstate 89 North.
Troopers were conducting speed enforcement near Exit 5 on June 16, 2026, at approximately 6:14 p.m. when they observed the vehicle.
The posted speed limit in that area is 65 mph.
The vehicle was stopped without incident, and the operator was identified as Arlando Samuels, 34, of Hartford, Connecticut.
Samuels was issued a criminal citation to appear in Orange County Superior Court – Criminal Division on August 12, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. to answer to charges of excessive speed and negligent operation.
