PRINCETOWN, NY — State Police arrested a Niskayuna man on child exploitation charges June 4, 2026.
David Benjamin, 59, of Niskayuna, was charged with Promoting a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class D felony, and Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child, a class E felony.
Benjamin is accused of promoting and possessing images consistent with child sexual exploitation.
His arrest followed an investigation and the execution of a search warrant at his residence in Niskayuna on June 4, 2026.
The investigation stemmed from a tip received from The FBI Child Exploitation Notification Program.
State Police were assisted by the Troop G Computer Crimes Unit and the Federal Bureau of Investigations.
Benjamin was arrested and processed at State Police Latham.
He was then transported to the Schenectady County Correctional Facility where he awaited arraignment.
