TOPSHAM, VT — Troopers from the St. Johnsbury Barracks responded to a citizen dispute on Taplin Hill Road at 9 p.m. June 8, 2026.
Following an investigation, authorities determined that Dakota Smith, 27, of Corinth, had assaulted a household member.
Smith was issued a citation to appear in Orange County Court – Criminal Division on Aug. 11, 2026 at 8 a.m.
