PHILADELPHIA, PA — Police have charged a man with murder following a fatal shooting in the city’s Germantown neighborhood.
Officers responded to a report of a person with a gun at approximately 7:23 p.m. June 10 in the 6100 block of Magnolia Street.
Upon arrival, officers found Jerry Fulton, 52, suffering from a gunshot wound to his chest.
Officers transported Fulton to Jefferson Einstein Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 7:49 p.m.
Neiko Nichols, 26, of Philadelphia, was apprehended by officers at the scene.
Nichols has been charged with murder, possessing instruments of crime and recklessly endangering another person.
