Man arrested on retail theft charges in Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — A 60-year-old man is facing felony charges after allegedly stealing nearly $2,900 worth of merchandise during two separate incidents at a Lowe’s store on Easton Road.

Jason Perez Vasquez, of Doylestown, was charged with retail theft and receiving stolen property following investigations into thefts that occurred on April 17 and May 16.

According to police, Vasquez loaded numerous items, including heaters, into a cart during the first incident and proceeded to the garden center.

He allegedly walked out of the store without paying while cashiers were assisting other customers.

The value of the stolen items totaled $1,694.98.

On May 16, Vasquez allegedly returned to the store and selected numerous items, including electrical wire, before exiting through the garden center without paying.

The second theft totaled $1,204.97.

The combined value of the stolen merchandise was $2,899.95.

Vasquez turned himself in to Warrington Police on June 5 and was processed on the charges.

He was arraigned by Judge Wertman, and bail was set at $60,000 unsecured.
