CHAMBERSBURG, PA — A man was arrested Wednesday on a charge of contempt for violation of a protection from abuse order.
Ryan Dennis Ommert, 40, of Pennsylvania, was taken into custody and brought before a district magistrate for arraignment.
Police said Ommert violated a protection order when he contacted the victim through text message.
An arrest warrant was issued Friday in the case.
The arrest occurred in the 700 block of Cumberland Avenue.
Ommert is charged with contempt for violation of order or agreement – PFA violation.
He is being held by the Chambersburg Police Department.
