ALIQUIPPA, PA — Police were dispatched to the 100 block of Wykes Street at approximately 11:26 p.m. on June 10 following multiple reports of shots fired in the area.
Officers arrived on the scene and determined that an occupied residence had been struck by gunfire.
Authorities secured the area and located shell casings and bullet fragments as part of the preliminary investigation.
No injuries were reported, despite the home being occupied at the time of the incident.
Due to the seriousness of the case, the Aliquippa Police Department requested the Pennsylvania State Police to take the lead in the investigation.
