NEWARK, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help identifying an armed suspect and several individuals in connection with a shooting that injured a victim on Monday.
Officers responded to reports of a shooting at approximately 7:11 p.m. at 4th Street and Park Avenue.
When officers arrived, they canvassed the area and located three 9mm casings and one live round at the location.
During the investigation, officers went to University Hospital, where the victim reported that he had been shot in his hip after an argument with the armed suspect.
