Fugitive arrested in Lincoln Woods

LINCOLN WOODS, RI — A Providence man wanted in connection with a Massachusetts stabbing was arrested Tuesday.

Keeland Rose, 31, of Providence, was taken into custody by members of the Rhode Island Violent Fugitive Task Force and Violent Fugitive Apprehension Section.

Rose was wanted as a fugitive from justice out of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for aggravated assault and stabbing.

The incident occurred May 3, 2026, in New Bedford, Massachusetts.

Rose was arrested without incident and transported to the State Police Lincoln Woods Barracks where he was processed.

He was later transported to 6th District Court for arraignment.
