SUTTON, VT — A 37-year-old man faces charges of aggravated sexual assault of a child and lewd and lascivious conduct following a joint investigation by Vermont State Police and the Vermont Department of Children and Families.
Jordan Kidder, of Sutton, turned himself in to Vermont State Police on June 10, 2026.
The investigation began May 19, 2026, after authorities received a report of suspected sexual abuse of a child.
An arrest warrant was requested for Kidder as a result of the investigation.
The Caledonia Criminal Court issued the arrest warrant June 8, 2026.
Kidder was arraigned at Caledonia Criminal Court and ordered held without bail.
