WATERVLIET, NY — Officers from the Watervliet Police Department responded to the Michael J. Day Apartments on Monday following a report of a bullet located inside an apartment.
The call came in at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Upon arrival, officers located a scene consistent with initial reports.
Investigation revealed that a bullet had been discovered inside a child’s room.
A neighboring apartment was subsequently checked and determined to be the origin point of where the bullet was fired from.
No injuries were reported.
The investigation remains active and investigators are working diligently to identify all individuals involved.
