CLIFTON PARK, NY — A woman was arrested on a DWI charge following a single-vehicle crash early Monday morning.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to a personal injury motor vehicle crash at 1:10 a.m. on Ballston Lake Road in the town of Clifton Park.
Barbara A. Frederick, 39, of Ballston Lake, was arrested for DWI, an unclassified misdemeanor.
Frederick is accused of operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition.
She was also cited for failing to use designated lane, speed not reasonable and prudent and operating an unregistered vehicle, all infractions.
Frederick had reportedly been operating a 2014 Subaru Forester traveling north on Ballston Lake Road when it left its lane of travel, crossed over the opposite lane and struck a mailbox and a guardrail, causing the vehicle to overturn.
The vehicle proceeded to strike a utility pole causing downed wires and a road sign before coming to rest on its roof.
She was transported to Albany Medical Center by Clifton Park-Halfmoon EMS for evaluation and treatment of apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
Frederick was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in the Clifton Park Town Court.
