DUNKIRK, NY — A 38-year-old man faces multiple felony charges following an Internet Crimes Against Children investigation.
Terry M. Reynolds, of Dunkirk, was arrested June 5, 2026, by the Bureau of Criminal Investigation stationed at State Police Fredonia.
Reynolds is charged with predatory sexual assault against a child, an A-II felony, and rape in the first degree, a B felony.
He also faces charges of promoting a sexual performance by a child, a D felony, possessing a sexual performance by a child, an E felony, and criminal possession of a controlled substance in the seventh degree.
The Bureau of Criminal Investigation out of State Police Fredonia, with assistance from the Troop A Computer Crimes Unit, conducted the investigation in the city of Dunkirk.
The investigation determined Reynolds possessed child pornography and was disseminating child pornography, according to state police.
The investigation also determined there were live victims associated with the pornographic material, state police said.
The victims were located and deposed.
During the arrest and search, Reynolds possessed methamphetamine, according to state police.
Reynolds was taken to the Chautauqua County Jail for central arraignment.
The investigation remains active.
