WHITEHALL, NY — The Washington County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Whitehall man Tuesday following an investigation into a domestic incident that occurred in April.
Dameyon L. Miller, 22, of Whitehall, was arrested June 2, 2026, according to Sheriff Jeffrey J. Murphy.
The investigation determined that Miller violated an active Order of Protection that prohibited him from having contact with a juvenile and subjected that juvenile to physical contact.
The incident occurred April 13, 2026, on Williams Street in the Village of Whitehall.
Miller was previously charged with a violation of Harassment in connection with the same incident, stemming from physical contact he had with the child’s mother at the time.
Miller was charged with Criminal Contempt in the First Degree, a class E felony, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child, a class A misdemeanor.
He is scheduled to appear in the Village of Whitehall Court on June 8, 2026.
