NORTH KINGSTOWN, RI — A Pawtucket man was arrested on May 29 on charges including reckless driving and eluding police following an investigation by Rhode Island State Police.
Kyle A. Martins, 31, of Pawtucket, was taken into custody at General Dynamics Electric Boat at 2:12 p.m.
Martins faces charges of reckless driving and other offenses against public safety, eluding a law enforcement vehicle in a high-speed pursuit, and duty to stop for an accident resulting in damage to a vehicle, all first offenses.
He was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
Martins was released with a future Third District Court arraignment date.

WARWICK, RI — A West Warwick man was arrested on May 29 on a charge of driving under the influence following a traffic stop.
David Matriano, 56, of West Warwick, was stopped on East Avenue at 9:55 p.m.
Matriano was charged with driving under the influence of liquor with a blood alcohol content of .15 or greater, a first offense.
Police said his blood alcohol content registered .165 percent in the first phase of testing and .158 percent in the second phase.
He was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
Matriano was released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.

WARWICK, RI — A Connecticut man was arrested early May 30 on charges of driving under the influence and refusing a chemical test.
Aaron King, 26, of East Hampton, Connecticut, was stopped on East Avenue at 12:45 a.m.
King was charged with driving under the influence of liquor with blood alcohol content unknown and refusal to submit to a chemical test, both first offenses.
He was transported to the State Police Wickford Barracks where he was processed and arraigned by a justice of the peace.
King was released with a notice to appear in Third District Court.
