Man arrested on warrant in West Warwick

WEST WARWICK, RI — A 19-year-old man was arrested on an outstanding bench warrant following a traffic stop Thursday night.

Joshua Harrington, of Hope, was taken into custody at 10:52 p.m. on Cowesett Avenue, according to Rhode Island State Police.

Harrington was wanted on a Third Division District Court bench warrant for failure to appear for a pretrial conference on an original charge of weapons other than firearms.

The original charge originated from the Coventry Police Department.

Harrington was processed at the Hope Valley Barracks and turned over to the Adult Correctional Institutions Men’s Intake Center.
