MORGAN, VT — Vermont State Police, working with Claremont, New Hampshire, police, arrested a man on May 28, 2026, on Gore Road on an extraditable warrant from New Hampshire.
Lance Simons, 55, of Morgan, was taken into custody on charges originating in New Hampshire.
The New Hampshire warrant charges include 12 counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault, two counts of felonious sexual assault, six counts of aggravated felonious sexual assault pattern, one count of attempted aggravated felonious sexual assault and two counts of attempted felonious sexual assault.
Simons was held at Northern State Correctional Facility on $50,000 bail.
