Man arrested on retail theft charge in Warrington

WARRINGTON, PA — Police arrested a man after he allegedly left a grocery store without paying for merchandise on May 22.

Warrington Police responded to Wegmans at 1405 Main Street for a report of a retail theft.

Loss prevention staff told officers they observed a male later identified as Austin Carl Hahn, 21, of Jamison, selecting various items inside the store.

Hahn exited the store without paying for the merchandise in his hands, according to police.

The total amount of stolen merchandise was $32.90.

Hahn was placed under arrest and transported to the police station where he was processed and released.

He is charged with retail theft.
