WILTON, CT — Two people were arrested early yesterday morning after police responding to a motor vehicle crash discovered firearms, including a ghost gun, at the scene.
Officers were dispatched to the crash at approximately 4 a.m.
Upon arrival, police encountered two individuals near the vehicle who were evasive about their involvement in the incident, according to the Wilton Police Department.
An officer observed one person holding a bag that was quickly discarded.
Inside the bag, officers recovered two firearms, including one ghost gun.
A high-capacity magazine was also seized during the investigation.
Both individuals were taken into custody and the firearms were secured.
Police credited a resident who called in the crash report.
