TRENTON, NJ — A 27-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a shooting that left three people injured earlier this month.
Quashawn Emanuel, of Vineland, was taken into custody May 22 by the U.S. Marshal Service in Vineland.
He faces charges of criminal attempt homicide, aggravated assault, unlawful possession of a weapon, possession of a weapon for unlawful purpose and certain person not to possess a firearm.
Trenton Police received a report at approximately 4:10 a.m. May 10 that three people arrived at Capital Health Regional Medical Center suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victims were two women, ages 31 and 32, and a 35-year-old man.
Further investigation revealed the victims were shot during an incident at NJ Weedman’s Joint Restaurant on East State Street.
Mercer County Shooting Response detectives conducted the investigation and identified Emanuel as the shooting suspect.
Warrants for Emanuel’s arrest were issued for the charges.
