PENN YAN, NY — A Penn Yan woman was arrested after allegedly activating a fire alarm in retaliation during a disturbance at a residence on Hamilton Street.
Noel Felton, 23, of Penn Yan, was taken into custody by Penn Yan Police following an investigation into the incident.
Police said Felton became angered with other residents and activated the fire alarm in retaliation.
She was issued an appearance ticket for falsely reporting an incident in the third degree.
Felton was released and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
