CRAFTSBURY, VT — The Vermont State Police arrested two people on domestic assault charges May 22.
Police received a report of a domestic assault at approximately 7:39 p.m. at a residence on South Albany Road.
After further investigation, troopers determined Vidal Ruiz, 44, of Craftsbury, and Delgadina Ruiz-Lopez, 42, of Craftsbury, had physically harmed a household member.
Ruiz and Ruiz-Lopez were arrested and transported to the Derby Barracks for processing.
Both were later released on a citation to appear in court.
