MILTON, NY — Two people were injured Tuesday when a Saratoga County emergency services vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Geyser and Greenfield roads.
The Saratoga County Sheriff’s Office responded to the crash at 1:55 p.m.
A 2024 Ford F-150 pickup truck was traveling northbound on Greenfield Avenue when it struck a 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was traveling eastbound on Geyser Road, according to a preliminary investigation.
The Ford pickup truck was a Saratoga County Office of Emergency Services vehicle that was responding to a plane crash at the Saratoga County Airport.
The operator of the Ford was taken by Malta-Stillwater EMS to Albany Medical Center for evaluation and treatment of apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
The operator of the Jeep was taken by Malta-Stillwater EMS to Saratoga Hospital for evaluation and treatment of apparently non-life-threatening injuries.
There were no other occupants in either vehicle.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Sheriff’s Collision Reconstruction Unit.
Geyser Road is closed from Greenfield Avenue to Rowland Street while the investigation is ongoing.
