MILTON, NY — A 38-year-old woman faces multiple charges following a traffic stop Wednesday afternoon.
Cassandra L. Lynch, of Milton, was arrested at 2:20 p.m. on Greenfield Avenue after an automatic license plate recognition camera alerted deputies that the registered owner was wanted.
Lynch was charged with operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs, aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the 3rd degree, criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 7th degree, unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and illegal signal.
Authorities say Lynch operated a motor vehicle while her ability to do so was impaired by the use of a drug and while her license was suspended or revoked.
She is also accused of knowingly and unlawfully possessing a controlled substance and failing to signal an intention to turn for at least the last 100 feet before doing so.
Lynch was released on appearance tickets pending proceedings in Milton Town Court.
She was turned over to the New York State Police on their warrant.
