Man arrested on unlicensed operation charge in Milford

MILFORD, NY — A 26-year-old man was arrested following a traffic stop in the Town of Milford on May 22, 2026.

Harold J. Janitz, of Laurens, was charged with aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree, according to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies found that Janitz’s vehicle registration and driver’s license were both suspended in New York State.

Janitz was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to appear in Milford Town Court at a later date.
