BOSTON, MA — A months-long narcotics investigation by Boston Police resulted in the seizure of more than 644 grams of crack cocaine and the arrest of a suspected major drug supplier.

Willie Wilkerson, 67, of Brighton, was arrested Friday following the execution of multiple search warrants across Boston neighborhoods.

The investigation was conducted by the C-11 Dorchester Drug Control Unit with assistance from the D-14 Brighton/Allston Drug Control Unit.

Investigators identified Wilkerson as a primary supplier operating across several Boston neighborhoods and gathered evidence over several months to obtain search warrants for his person, vehicle and multiple locations.

Officers observed Wilkerson leave a Dorchester residence Friday morning and drive to a gas station at Quincy Street and Blue Hill Avenue, where they stopped him and executed the warrants.

A search of Wilkerson yielded an undisclosed amount of currency and keys to multiple locations.

Officers found 1.8 grams of crack cocaine in the vehicle’s dashboard console, currency in a hidden rear-seat compartment and drug packaging materials.

Wilkerson was arrested and transported to District B-2 station for booking.

Officers then searched the Dorchester residence, recovering drug packaging materials and a small quantity of crack cocaine.

Using keys recovered from Wilkerson, investigators identified a Brighton apartment and executed a search warrant there Friday evening.

The Brighton apartment search yielded approximately 644 grams of crack cocaine from a locked bedroom closet, multiple scales, drug packaging materials, Pyrex containers and various drug paraphernalia including baking soda.

Wilkerson’s vehicle was also seized.

Wilkerson is charged with trafficking in a Class B controlled substance over 200 grams and possession with intent to distribute a Class B controlled substance.

He will be arraigned at Roxbury District Court.
