CAMBRIDGE, NY — The Cambridge-Greenwich Police Department arrested two men in connection with a burglary at the former Mary McClellan Hospital property on May 23, 2026.
Matthew Brady, 41, and Michael D. Perkins, 36, were charged with burglary in the third degree, criminal possession of burglar’s tools and criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Police responded to reports of suspicious activity and a burglary at the former hospital property located within the Village of Cambridge.
Officers located and detained two individuals believed to be involved in the unlawful entry and attempted theft of copper materials from the property.
The Cambridge-Greenwich Police Department executed multiple search warrants with assistance from the Washington County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police.
The search warrants led to the recovery of burglary tools, controlled substances, communication devices and additional evidence related to the investigation.
Further charges may be pending as the investigation remains ongoing.
