Man arrested on fugitive charge in Jamestown

JAMESTOWN, NY — Officers on patrol on the north side of the city arrested a man wanted in Pennsylvania on May 20, 2026.

Chet A. Anthony, 33, of Jamestown, was taken into custody at approximately 11:36 a.m. after officers recognized him as being wanted by the Warren County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania.

Anthony was wanted on a charge of cruelty to animals.

He was transported to the Jamestown City Jail on a charge of being a fugitive from justice.

Anthony will be held pending arraignment and extradition.
