MORRISTOWN, VT — The Morristown Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating a woman who left court before her sentencing.
Police are searching for Katie Brier, who walked out of court during her sentencing hearing.
Brier has communicated multiple times over the past several weeks that she would turn herself in but has not done so, according to police.
The department is offering a reward of five Smash Burgers and two large chocolate shakes from Gondolas Down Town to anyone who provides information that directly leads to Brier’s arrest.
Police said the reward program, called “Wanted Wednesdays,” does not use taxpayer dollars.
Winners can collect their reward discreetly if they wish, and police will deliver it if requested.
Police are offering Brier a chocolate shake if she turns herself in.
The department warned the public not to put themselves, their families, friends or pets in danger and to provide information to police rather than attempt to apprehend Brier themselves.
