BOSTON, MA — The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s help to identify a man wanted in connection with an aggravated assault in South Boston.
At about 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, officers assigned to District C-6 responded to a call in the area of 425 West Broadway Street in South Boston.
Officers spoke to the victim who said he was involved in an altercation in which he was struck in the head with a beer bottle.
The victim said an unknown male approached him and his girlfriend and began to verbally accost them.
The victim said he approached the male and after a verbal altercation, the parties separated.
The victim said the unknown male continued to make lewd gestures toward his girlfriend, which caused a physical altercation to take place in which the victim was struck in the head with a beer bottle.
The unknown male fled the area prior to officers’ arrival.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’9″ to 5’10” in height, between the ages of 26 and 30, with dark hair and a beard.
