Man arrested on violation of conditions charge in Danville

DANVILLE, VT — A man was arrested after allegedly violating his court-ordered curfew.

Keith Olson, 37, of Danville, was charged with violation of conditions of release on May 14, 2026.

The charge stems from previous arrests for sexual assault, possession of child sexual abuse material, use of a child in a sexual performance, and promoting a recording of sexual conduct.

Olson was issued conditions of release that included a 24-hour curfew.

On May 20, 2026, at approximately 1:31 p.m., troopers from the Vermont State Police St. Johnsbury Barracks were dispatched to a report of a violation of conditions in Danville.

Investigation revealed that Olson had left his residence while on the 24-hour curfew.

Olson was later found and placed under arrest.

He was transported to the St. Johnsbury Barracks for processing.

Olson was issued a citation to appear in Caledonia County Superior Court – Criminal Division on May 21, 2026, at 12:30 p.m.

He was held at the Northeastern Correctional Complex without bail.
